Internet is one of the most important inventions in history.Millions of people from all over the
world use it every day, so I think that internet has more advantages than
disadvantages.
Information. We can find
any type of information on any subject
with help of the search engines.
Communication. With Internet we can chat with a
person who might be in some other place as
of ours.Now communication development process is still going on to make it more
dependable and quick.
A very useful thing is an E-mail, because it is faster than regular port
and even air mail.
Another advantages is entertainment internet, which is including video games, music, movies news and other can
be accessed through the Internet.
Shopping . We can also shop online. There are
many online stores and sites that we can used to look for products. We do not
need to leave our house and can do all shopping.
Internet helps in formation of communities
or forums. Number of people can participate in different types of
debates and gather valuable knowledge.
Services A variety of services are offered by
internet, for example job searching, online banking, buying movie tickets,
hotel reservations and other services.
Internet offers a lot of information from every branch of knowledge, so
we can find everything for our school work or job there.
The
disadvantages
Spamming . They are meaningless and they
unnecessarily block the whole system.
Theft of personal details. While using
the Internet, there is high probability that our personal details like name,
address may be accessed by that people.
Also it is a drawback , that there are some websites that are harmful to
children. There are numerous pornographic sites available over the Internet and
watching any of those can have very bad influence on the mental health of
children.
Virus. This program interrupts the usual operation of
our personal computer system
Dependence on computer . There are many people all
over the world, which sit on the computer over 20 hours and can`t live without
it.
In
conclusion. Internet has more good sides than bad ones, and I
think that`s improving all the time, so in the future it will be still better.
